 About

Hi! I'm Charlotte, an Arts & Health Facilitator, Forest Therapy Practitioner and Artist.

My work combines the fields of drawing, writing and printmaking - I love to combine different media and find new ways of experimenting, often using processes that are meditative (and slightly unconventional!)

I am currently working on a collaborative zine project with a friend living overseas, it's the best project I have EVER done and I can't wait to share the results! I can’t express in words how much I love art, and teaching has allowed me to share that passion, for which I am so grateful.

Teaching Experience:

  • Art Shape - Art Tutor and Arts & Health facilitator - a wonderful non-profit organisation - check out their website and do sign up to a course you fancy!

  • Hauser & Wirth Somerset - Facilitator, Education Team

  • Weston College - A level Art & Design

  • Swindon College - Level 1 - 6 Art & Design (including degree)

  • Wiltshire College - Level 1 - 3 Art & Design

I am a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner who combines nature connection with creative play outdoors. The sessions I run help people to connect with nature, to encourage a slower way of life. Studies on Forest Therapy have proven the benefits on mental and physical health, there is more on this on my Forest Therapy Page, this combined with a session to encourage relaxing creative flow can set you up to feel less stressed and more creative.

If you'd like to come to a session click here, or register interest using the form below.

I dabble in writing on motherhood and have writing published in 'Born in Lockdown', a poem and illustrations published in 'Rainbow Punch!' and a poem published in Motherlore magazine's 'Body' issue (see my writing page).

I am a proud mother to two young daughters who provide me with constant inspiration for writing (and an on-going juggle to find my creative and personal space!)

If you’d like me to run any arts or nature based workshops please do get in touch via the contact form below.

Thanks! Message sent.
