About
Hi! I'm Charlotte, an Arts & Health Facilitator, Forest Therapy Practitioner and Artist.
My work combines the fields of drawing, writing and printmaking - I love to combine different media and find new ways of experimenting, often using processes that are meditative (and slightly unconventional!)

It is my belief that our relationship with nature needs to change, to combat climate change and to re-learn how our bodies and minds operate in cycles, mirrored in nature.
Our productivity based culture is casting overwhelm and burn out, and sometimes it feels like wellbeing has become yet another chore on our list of things to do.

I want to create spaces where people can explore their relationship with nature through immersing in it, exploring it, absorbing small observations that build connection and ground us. These spaces involve others, exploring alongside other people, sharing if it feels right, working together as our confidence and community builds.
My hopes are to sow small seeds within people that encourage the seedlings of nurture and collaboration to grow. These are the fundamental aspects of community. When we start to work together, accepting differences can be learning opportunities and valuing working towards a common goal of respecting nature and our own humanity, we will see big system change.

Imagine a world that works with the seasons, growing and respecting the land, acknowledging the winter months being for rest, not forcing ourselves into a race for productivity.

I am a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner who combines nature connection with creative play outdoors. The sessions I run help people to connect with nature, to encourage a slower way of life. Studies on Forest Therapy have proven the benefits on mental and physical health, there is more on this on my Forest Therapy Page, this combined with a session to encourage relaxing creative flow can set you up to feel less stressed and more creative.
If you'd like to come to a session click here, or register interest using the form below.

I dabble in writing on motherhood and have writing published in 'Born in Lockdown', a poem and illustrations published in 'Rainbow Punch!' and a poem published in Motherlore magazine's 'Body' issue (see my writing page).

I am a proud mother to two young daughters who provide me with constant inspiration for writing (and an on-going juggle to find my creative and personal space!)
