 About

Hi! I'm Charlotte and I have worked as a lecturer and arts and health facilitator for well over ten years (who’s counting?!)

My work combines the fields of illustration, drawing and printmaking - I love to combine different media and find new ways of experimenting! I am currently working on an exciting collaborative zine project with a friend living overseas, I can't wait to share the results! I can’t express in words how much I love art, and teaching has allowed me to share that passion, for which I am so grateful.

I have worked as a tutor for Swindon, Wiltshire and Weston colleges, teaching on a range of courses from Level 1 - 6.

I have also worked as part of the education team at Hauser and Wirth Somerset and as a freelance artist / tutor!

I currently  work for Art Shape alongside various freelance jobs - they are a wonderful non-profit organisation - check out their website and do sign up to a course you fancy!

I dabble in writing on motherhood and have writing published in 'Born in Lockdown', a poem and illustrations published in 'Rainbow Punch!' and a poem due to be published in the next copy of Motherlore magazine on the theme of 'Body'. (see my writing page for more info).

I am a proud mother to two young daughters who provide me with constant inspiration for writing (and an on-going juggle to find my creative and personal space!)

I am also a qualified Forest Therapy Practitioner. The sessions I run combine my love of the outside and my want to help people to connect with a slower, more connected with nature, way of life. Recent studies have proven the benefits of this on mental and physical health. Please check out the sessions available here, or register interest using the form below.
