I use a collaborative approach to designing experiences that have nature at the core, building connection to the earth to enhance wellbeing and build community. Please get in contact to any discuss projects and events I can co-create with you. In previous projects I have worked for NHS funded programmes for Art Shape & Rosetta Life, International Women’s Day event run by Bristol Women’s Voice, Southmead Hospital’s Allotment Gala and events for The Festival of Nature. I have worked as a teacher of Art & Design in FE colleges and an Artist Tutor for Art Shape.
"We often forget that WE ARE NATURE. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we've lost our connection to ourselves."

The Garden Studio
Where my Creative Seeds are Nurtured
My studio is nestled at the bottom of my garden, overlooking my veg patch and providing me with a calm, nurturing space to create within. Using natural materials in drawing, printmaking and sculpture I explore themes experienced in my life;
The fragility and strength of the body as it journeys through motherhood, illness and trauma
The duality of motherhood: all consuming love alongside feelings of total overwhelm
The viral fears of mothering in a world so disconnected to the earth
Rooting my wellbeing practices through creative flow - making things that feel good to make!
Nature & Creative Health Facilitation
Sowing Creative Seeds within a Nurturing and Collaborative Environment
I use a collaborative approach with organisations to design experiences that build community and connection.
My workshops and programmes can be outdoors or inside. I love to use natural materials as a focus in my work, but happily tailor materials and processes to the interests and needs of the groups I work with. I believe exploring creative play is a human instinct, a powerful vessel for reflection, personal growth and change.

My workshops and art are underpinned with the belief that we are one with nature.

I believe we are one with nature. Connecting to the earth is how humans used to live, it brings us moments of peace in a busy and distracted world. In order to look after our planet, we need to ensure we are looking after ourselves.
I believe that we can make powerful change working together, so I help to build community through collaborative artworks and programmes, that dissolve barriers and encourage hope.

I create spaces where people can explore their relationship with nature through sensory immersion, noticing small observations that build connection and ground us. Absorbing sights, sounds, textures, tastes and smells grounds us in our bodies and our environments. It builds belonging, and this is so important in a culture of productivity and, often, isolation.
By connecting to nature we will re-learn how our bodies and minds operate in cycles, mirrored in nature. Imagine a world that works with the seasons, growing and respecting the land, acknowledging the winter months being for rest, not forcing ourselves into a race for productivity.
My hopes are to sow small seeds through my art and facilitation practice that encourage the seedlings of nurture and collaboration to grow. I believe these are the fundamental aspects of community. When we work together, accepting differences to be learning opportunities and valuing working towards a common goal of respecting nature and our own humanity, we could see big system change, and positive impact on our climate.
