This project started between two friends aiming to reignite their creativity and build a connection with each other whilst in different countries.

It is an on-going project, which started with each person selecting two themes and making two zines/artist books, completing a piece of art for the front cover and first page. The zines were then sent to the other person to complete the next page. Each person responds to the previous artwork through their own interpretation, perhaps electing a running theme, colour palette, material or another element of the artwork to respond to. They may also choose to respond to the general zine theme and respond with how they are feeling in that moment. There is no right or wrong, only opportunities to create unapologetically. The Zine titles are; ‘A little Book of Beauty’, ‘Motherhood’, ‘Earth’ and ‘Feel the Senses’.

I have developed this project into an 8 week project which I have run for Art Shape’s Adult Education course.
