Draw using Natural Inks and Collaborate on a Woodland Drawing To start, a Forest Therapy session will enagage your senses with the natural world, helping you to be present in the moment and encouraging your to relax. Your will explore the woodland during winter, grounding yourself in the seasonal changes and noticing how these feel within your body. We will create a simple journal for you to use during the winter months, to record thoughts and feelings, perhaps to record any time spent in nature. We will then gather inspiration from the natural world and draw expressively using natural inks. I will provide you with some journal prompts to take away and use for the upcoming winter months. Our session will finish by coming together in a circle to create a large drawing of the woodland, noticing the light and dark and recording using natural inks made from knopper oak galls, flowers and vegetable skins. No expericne of drawing necesary, we will be drawing for expression, rather than accuracy! Please dress for the weather, it can feel cold when you move slowly throught the woodland- layers are good! Waterproofs and good footwear. Bring a water bottle and please notify me if you have any allergies (I provide tea, coffee, herbal teas and biscuits / snacks) Let me know if you have any access issues or anything that may affect you during this session. charlottehawkeart@gmail.com How to find The Avon Centre: Car: Use address below.
