Service Description

A chance to connect with yourself with some springtime awakening in the woods! Our session will start in the woodland at The Avon Centre, where you will be given a series of grounding Forest Therapy invitations to connect your mind and body to the natural environment. We will then pause, reflect and have some gentle chats about spring and nature with a hot drink and biscuits (perhaps even warm our bodies by the fire if needed!) The creative workshop that follows will help you tap into your flow using expressive watercolour painting and Hapa Zome (hammering flowers/ leaves into fabric or paper) Session start 10:30am. Hot drinks and snacks provided. Workshop finishes at 1pm. The workshop is set within the beautiful woodland at The Avon Centre, Bristol. There is a shelter if the weather is awful, but we will be embracing the elements as part of our experience! (unless either warnings are issued, in which case sessions will be reorganised). Please wear good footwear, warm clothing and bring waterproofs, in case it rains. There is plenty of parking. There is an entrance to the woods opposite the gravel car park. Head down the path - ahead you will see a fenced area with a gate - please meet me inside there. The Avon Centre Kings Weston Road Henbury Bristol BS10 7QT Bus: There's a bus stop by Blaise Castle on Kings Weston Road for services 3, 4 and 15. There is a 10min walk to The Avon Centre from that stop (along a long driveway, with an incline) please let me know if you have any access issues.
