Service Description

This 1.5 hr session will provide the opportunity for you to connect with your body and mind through guided invitations that awaken your individual senses. The wooded area at The Avon Centre is a beautiful, safe surrounding for you to consider how you are feeling and how you are connected to nature. Many people feel forest therapy helps to reduce stress and anxiety and promotes their on-going well-being. This is open to everyone, but especially parents with babies who may appreciate the time to connect with body and mind through calming Forest Therapy invitations. These sessions are perfect for anyone who has experienced anxiety or low mood and is interested in building a toolkit to help improve your own well-being. The workshop is set within the beautiful woodland at The Avon Centre, Bristol. There is a shelter if the weather is awful, but we will be embracing the elements as part of our experience! Please wear good footwear and dress accordingly for the weather - bring waterproofs, in case it rains. Sessions are 1.5 hours long and finish with a hot drink and biscuits, a time to reflect. Please arrive 10mins early, if possible, to allow for time to get the space. How to find The Avon Centre: Car: Use address below. There is plenty of parking. There is an entrance to the woods opposite the gravel car park. Head down the path - ahead you will see a fenced area with a gate - please meet me inside there. The Avon Centre Kings Weston Road Henbury Bristol BS10 7QT Bus: There's a bus stop by Blaise Castle on Kings Weston Road for services 3, 4 and 15.There is a 10min walk to The Avon Centre from that stop (along a level driveway, with an incline)
